Don't do acid they call it acid because it melts your brain. And it stays in your spinal fluid forever.
But seriously LSD is similar to shrooms but with less of a mind fuck and generally more visual. But everyone is different. Best of luck on your quest.

Dont expect it to be like mushrooms I will tell you that.
Mushrooms are way more earthy, spiritual and serious while LSD is more lighthearted, recreational and a deep connection to people and the universe.

Some might say its more visual but that is different from person to person?
For me LSD is definitely more visual and differently visual as well.

Less of a head fuck for sure! Not as serious and more playful in my opinion.
More happy thoughts and a certain wonder and joy to be alive, kind of like seeing the world for the first time or in a completely different way where everything is just so beautiful and not as dark and ominous as mushrooms. But thats not to say mushrooms are evil or less happy they just show it in a different way in my opinion.

And of course the time period in which one is tripping. Mushrooms you can fit in to a day and go to sleep and wake up no problem the next day.
LSD I would recommend you have 24 hours that you won't have anything to worry about, not that you will be trippin for 24 hours but its extremely hard to go to sleep after coming down from LSD it seems to linger on and on.
The main trip of LSD is in the 6 to 8 hour range give or take but you will be feeling its effects for at least 12 hours.

LSD is my favorite psychedelic out there and has shown and taught me more than any other psychedelic that I have tried.
LSD is extremely versatile in the way that you can easily direct a trip.
If you want it to be a good time with a bunch of visuals and laughs it can be that way or if you want a deep meaningful spiritual earth shattering experience and connect with the cosmos it can be that way as well.
There is nothing like it in my opinion except maybe some of its analogues but no other psychedelic has done more for me than this miracle of a chemical and it is very close to my heart and mind. I truly love it dearly!

Well if you really did drop 7 grams of dried cubes, I doubt LSD will surprise you too much.

LSD is different from mushrooms, but also very similar. I could say things like it's more visual, but it's also less visual. It's more kinesthetic, and also less kinesthetic. It can be more lighthearted, but it also lacks the guiding force of the shroom, and it's easier to drop off the deep end with it.

I have experienced the concept of "hell", and the futility and pain of existence on LSD, as well as deep bonding and attachment, cosmic love and connection. I have had wonderful experiences of pure ecstasy on shrooms, and also have been severely scolded and punished by them like a lazy apprentice who refuses to learn.

All psychedelic trips are different. There are differences between entheogens, but they are hard to explain in words. My recommendation with LSD is to go into the trip without expectations, and keep your focus outward, and keep your thoughts on love and beauty.

No, acid doesn't "melt" your brain, nor does it stay in any bodypart for a long time.
In fact it gets so fast metabolized that even the police or a doctor cannot detect it in your blood /body anymore after a day or two.

For me, acid is less visual than shrooms.
Not saying it isn't visual at all, but in low doses mushrooms are more visual for me (comparing 1 to 3 grams to 50 to 150ug)
Acid gets very visual in the 200ug+ range, but that's no low dose anymore. 300ug+ is like 5g+ of shrooms for me, everything in my vision melts away or changes it's shape for several hours.
But everybody is different, though. Some get only slight visuals from high doses of shrooms, others take 300ug of lsd and don't have strong visuals.

As others said, expect to be awake for a long time.
The experience itself lasts ~12 hours (peak effects are over like 6 to 7 hours after ingestion, though), but it keeps you awake for way longer.
When I dose high, I cannot sleep for the next 16 to 24 hours. Even half a tab (50ug) keep me awake for 12+ hours after dosing.
So dosing in the evening or afternoon gives me sleepless nights anytime.

100ug to 150ug is a solid trip already, perfect for beginners. Over 200ug can get heavy already. Less than 100ug could be underwhelming.

If im Going into this experience Im doing the same exact thing I did with shrooms, taking alot any where around 300ug to 500ug Im breaking through to the other side. Lets hope the trip lasts longer than 7 hours. Ill right a trip report after also... Not sure when im doing this but within the next month. Wish Me Luck :crazy2:

Yea I wouldn't worry about that. It will, unless you're incredibly resistant.

Taking it in the morning / early afternoon after a good sleep might be a good idea.

It all depends on the amount administered and how many times You administer it.

If it is Your first time trying LSD, try a smaller than recommended dose.
When I was growing up, LSD's recommended dose was one to two hits but that was back in the day. Like the late nineties right before Y2K.

In microgram dosages for first timers with lysergamides is around one hundred micrograms.

I had done mushrooms hundreds of times before I ever tried lsd. I’ve only done lsd 3 times now, but it’s a blast! First time I did 800-1000mcg, then 200mcg, and 100mcg.

To be honest I felt like mushrooms are a much more intense and mind bending experience (around 6 grams) than acid was at 800-1000.

Acid for me feels fun and happy the entire time, whereas mushrooms can get dark and gloomy out of nowhere.

On mushrooms visuals are more breathing, flowing, and intense/in your face, and lsd is more tracers, swirling, colors changing, and detailed.

I get so stimulated on lsd that I start shaking and laughing in a very low tone. Mushrooms sedate me and make me laugh hard without holding back.

My only problem with lsd is how long it last. It literally will take up your entire day and then some.

Mushrooms are short lived, but pack a punch.

They’re very different experiences, but I can see why people say they’re similar.
