I was suggested to let identify these. Personally I think these are correct ones, as I paid attention when picking them. Not very good pictures sadly. Fresh and dried condition.

I would agree.

spore print will be purple-brown mix.

Man I see stuff all day like this out hunting cyans, but they never look like libs to me. How can I tell libs from your everyday mycena?

You won’t find libs in the same habitat you find cyans. Libs are a grassland species.

Mycena are more delicate and have straigher lines on the cap, thinner cap too. Libs are curled on the bottom of the cap like a hat more light brownish and rounder cap edges.

Also u typically find Libs in cow fields while Mycenas are around trees and bushes typically.

im looking for shrroms in uk last few weeks in cattle field and in woods near by  and find other types that arent liberty but cant be sure . any advice? have no pics how many times grow in uk ? these had nipples and white stems that were hollow . growing on a fallen tree
