Are these jars contaminated?

This is my first attempt at growing and I followed all the steps to the tee but still have 4 jars that looks very suspicious.
These were done with agar on 6 October.

The bottom one looks OK the other looks a little sketchy

I followed these steps:


And read all the threads here on shroomery.
I worked really clean but obviously something went wrong in the process.

I suspect it is with the grain sterilizing as I have a really small PC and don't think it reaches the pressures necessary. I tried to accommodate for this by sterilizing the grains for 120 minutes.

I still have one jar with APE that is looking completely healthy and 2 Alt#7's that is fine. Guess I will have to do G2G now before I can take it to substrate.

Bad luck..Your grain looks wet in the jars too...Once you boil ensure they are dry on the surface before you load, should be able to sit on a piece of tissue for 15 seconds and leave no wet mark

I did test it on paper towel and it was fine.
After the sterilizing there were a lot of drops inside the bottles.



Well I still have a little bit of mycelium on agar left.
Will make some agar plates and transfer that over the weekend to see if I can keep it going.

Will just try again!
