I am sure my unsterile practices lead to this trich. I noticed immediately that trich was growing. It started at my innoculation points.

Its funny how when i started out everyone told me that the green spread only through actual contact of the medium with its spores either physically or through the air. This is bullshit - i have a jar of mycelia in malt and water that always causes a green infection everytime i use it and i havent had a problem with the green from anywhere else

This is either Penicilinum or Aspergilus mold.

< This is either Penicilinum or Aspergilus mold.

if it is, will shrooms still grow, and if they grow, would they be safe?

Not likely.

> and if they grow, would they be safe?
No, dump contaminated cakes and casings out and be careful not to spread the mold spores all over the place.
