When you call Assad "a bloodthirsty psychopath" for defending his country from Muslim extremism, while the US provides support for them, are you being sarcastic?

The US constantly interferes whenever Assad has the Muslim extremists in retreat.  It appears Russia has finally had enough US lip service of how we want to help fight Islamic extremism.  It's obviously not true, we're simply interested in removing Assad so we can take control of Syria.
