I haven't been around Philly enough to form a solid opinion on it but I think I hate Philly too.

I've only been to the really nice parts of Chicago and LA, so I have semi-decent memories of those places, but would probably hate them too.

Basically, if there's steam coming up from the sewers and homeless people everywhere, I hate it.

Almost a year ago today I got a little lost in the subway tunnels when I was on acid after a Phish show. It was horrific, I was extremely intimidated by all of the thugs, drug-addicts, and crazy homeless that roam the subway stations at midnight and the general dirtyness of the place. The massive visible divide between the rich and the poor where every stop closer to Grand Central were filled with people more and more visibly well-kept was something that i'm not very used to experiencing.

Not to mention the people selling bootleg everything above ground and the shitty general attitudes that people in the city and surrounding areas seem to harbor and perpetuate. Fuck the Bronx, fuck Harlem, fuck Yonkers, fuck Long Island, fuck half of Brooklyn, fuck NYC.

Then there's the awful traffic I have to deal with every time I pass through NY to get to PA and the fact that NY drivers are assholes.
