:whathesaid: on my phone i don't see mold yet, but it's probably just a matter of time. But you're getting something! :dancer:

Edit: can someone zoom in the bottom left of the tub, 3rd pic and see? That may be mold there.
Definitely shouldn't mist it.

Not talking about mold on the sub but a parasite that attacks the fruits.
If you rub your fingers on the stem you can feel the sticky nasty spores on your fingertips, almost like really good hash, blonde kashmir etc except this stuff's nasty instead of sweet.

You're talking about vert, I think.

Yeah he is. Lecanicillium Fungicola. It can make the skinny bottoms; all depends on when it was infected.

yes but this doesnt look like vert as it should look with such thin stems,
and I'm sure I've heard there's other stuff than vert doing that same thing to the stems. so I tried to leave it open, I'm sure Pasty knows what's up here.

There is no blowout. White mold is not likely. It does look a bit necrotic but what it really looks like is a fruit that had terrible FAE at first, then had things improve. Those scenarios often result in the wimpy bases which never recover from the high CO2.

This, jesus, was painful scrolling through all that fuckin hypothesizing. hoping I wouldn't have to answer for all of it.

Thin stems at the base means the FAE was improved drastically between pinning and the middle of fruiting.

Hard to tell until the end of results with Ms pasty.

That tub went south at some point but it also could have been led by various other factors too....he would have had to have started with a isolate to know for sure

I have to ask Hybrid, what is it about it now that made it so bacterial but just a few days ago it was smooth sailing? If you're saying that cause it looks like a bluish / greenish tint, thats cause is from an unrelated drying out session i fucked up on but otherwise its the same IMO

It's just as bacterial as before, but now with added necrotizing tissue
It's very simple, Hybridprix was incorrect.

and what is it with you and isolates?
you keep using that word. I do not think it means, what you think it means.

The uncolonized portion op...it defiantly has bacteria....the last pictures I had seen of it looked like the entire thing was fully colonized....that uncolonized patch is defiantly wet spot bacteria...

I'm not sure what you used for spawn but if it was Pf cakes it could explain the pins etc. ...or it could just be poor ms genetics....that's the whole problem is that your grow is ms.

Here we go again  :facepalm3:

Not only is that not a wet spot, because i haven't even kept it misted and wet for extended periods of time (if anything i need a way to keep the humidity in better) but you literally haven't read my original post about how i did this run. MS to 1Q of grain.

I really respect your uplifting words but i cannot respect what you say from a mycological standpoint, it goes against everything i have learned is correct on this site.

This is fucking hilarious. Seriously, :ilold:.

As I said before, according to hybrid, you can never have a small amount of bacteria, only a lot. Love how a "perfectly healthy" tub went to "bacterial as fuck" in a matter of days.

:yeahthatsfunny:

NEWSFLASH: The bacteria was always there, you just have to want to learn how to spot it.
