Spore - thanks for the images. I am new to bulk growing and bacterial issues as well and the pictures will help me identify this kind of thing in the future. By the way, I would put money down on your tubs giving you some fruits.

If you stay on this forum and keep reading a lot in a few months you will have more mushrooms then you know what to do with - it happened to me :super:

your mycelium can very well keep colonizing with meshed-in bacteria. That's what those crazy growths protruding from the substrate are. Bacterial mycelium. Overlay? Really??

Ops is going to fruit....why? Because it smells like mushrooms....mine that I shared in this thread is also pinning nicely with a 6 inch deep substrate....


I'm being a moron for even posting to ease ops mind that he does not have bacteria...it's ms growth and it has a splotch of overlay....no biggie...and of course some of the old info on this site is stupid because "some" of it was made up by users just like yourselves...

dude.. how many times has it been said that you can get fruits even with a bacterial tub? just getting fruits does not mean you dont have bacterial problem.

Also, again, this was said more than three times, you can have bacteria even if all you smell is fresh healthy mushroom smell.

i just dont understand what you dont get at this point. Im kinda starting to think youre just trying to troll and get a rise out of inoc and the rest.

Mad just beat me to it, but as he said, no one here ever told OP to toss anything, or that he wouldnt get any fruits..

You do realize nobody has said to toss it or that it's not going to fruit.. they're saying it's obviously stressed due to bacteria, and keep an eye on it. Also the yield will be shitty compared to what it could have been.. This isn't news here. Maybe for you. But this has been shown and proven over and over. Here's my take on it.

Oh and cubensis doesn't overlay. That's been repeated tons in this thread alone.

bacteria lowers yields and can allow mold to get a foothold on the weakened sub,
hybrid's just making straw man arguments to make himself look smart. We've all seen pics where trich has taken over 2/3s of the sub and there's still mushrooms. same with bacteria.
