Hey guys, I'm growing a quart of grain spawn into some pasteurized manure (Roughly 1:1 ratio) and just wanted to get everyone's thoughts. I believe I threw this batch together on 6/11 and cased it on 6/26 and I'm thinking I'm having a few problems. It looks like I'm not getting enough FAE and I may be misting and/or fanning this tub too much. I know you aren't supposed to mist or fan them but I think I'm worrying too much and need some advice that would help. It looks like I am getting a lot of aerial mycelium and want to know if there are better ways to combat it. I have my polyfill packed very lightly and try to keep the casing moist. I cased it on 6/26 cause i was worried about my mycelium and wasn't sure when the right time was, but it seemed like the time to. Also I notice that it is warm inside the tub whenever I fan it, I assume that's normal but just wanted to add that.
Let me know how I'm doing and if there are any other things I should or shouldn't do. Thanks!

Things aren't looking too happy for my tub This morning and afternoon I misted the sides of the monotub but not the sub, it looked like I've been misting it a lot the past days and is still hydrated. I also fanned the tub when i misted it the 2 times today. When i came back from work it looked like the tub didn't have much humidity in it so i packed some more polyfill into the top 2 holes to hopefully keep it up. I try to keep posting pictures every day so we can see what happens :(

Things are pretty much status quo on the aerial / funny mycelium growth. I've yet to see anything that points towards pinning or knotting but I'm not worried yet.
My question for today is how do my evaporation rings / tub humidity look to you guys? I misted the tub (walls, not substrate) at 6am and gave it a little fanning came back about 4pm (10hrs later) to see this much evaporation. My room had its windows open and the ceiling fan on its lowest setting to circulate the air. I would also like to add in that it is like 3 inches away from my wall in my room in the last picture, I know this is not ideal but it is how I have to have it for the time being. This is why I like to fan and mist it often because I understand it is in less than ideal conditions.
Just after I just go back to take these pictures I fanned and misted the walls AND substrate this time because it finally looked like it was starting to dry up. Still smells fine and the heat has seemed to get a bit lower these past 12 or so hours.

Things are going as they were before. I've stopped misting the mono since yesterday afternoon, I don't plan on misting either of them unless I am told / read otherwise. I understand that this is a mono and I shouldn't need to fan it, but with it being close to the wall and whatnot, but should I try to keep bringing in FAE or just let it do its thing. I do not know its status of colonization so I'm not sure exactly what is best for the tub right now.
I re-packed my tub as this thread says and hopefully will have it tuned in soon enough. I think the casing is close to being done with mycelium growth on it but that's just a guess.
After I took a shower last night I was starting to get a little disheartened with my project, but I still want to do my best with this one and start to improve what I'm doing.

Doesn't look like much has changed, but the tub is getting more dry. The myc is still looking moist from spraying it the other day, and its growth is seeming to slow down. Hopefully things will pick up in the next few days and ill start to see some action from the sub! Let me know if I need to bump up the humidity or whatever else and ill keep on track with these pictures.
Hopefully ill get some new grain going soon and try to start a new batch. I'm in a situation where I have to do stealth shroom operations and my best options are to do spore syringes to pre made grain bags (I know, I know, its my best option right now IMO) and then go to this mini bulk. I have the materials for a SAB but need to make it before this next project. Any thoughts on how to still have a stealth op and do better than syringe to grain? Would LC be feasible? Thanks guys.
Also i'll read this shit show of comments a bit later. Things went to hell pretty quick in a day i guess haha. I respect what HybridprX is going for but i cant say i agree with him at all. Thank you for all the support and uplifting words all of you!

Not too much to say this time. I sprayed the walls because I'm an anxious fuck and got some water on the mycelium. With all this contam I can't tell what stage I'm at so I don't know if I should water or whatnot.
I'll be camping this weekend so hopefully I'll see some progress by then end of the day on 7/4.

I came in from this weekend with some sadness since I saw no progress. I thought things were pretty bleak and expected to go to a new grow pretty soon.
Then today came! I see some beautiful pins! (Pic 2 and 5) I'm looking forward to the next 24 to 48 hours to see what is going to be of this possible first flush. I'm going to take care of this baby and hopefully get so great results!
I also noticed the start of some of what I think is mold. (Pic 3, kind of hard to see the difference from the metabolites [Pic 4] but i assure you it is more of a green tint) I know it is inevitable for the mold to not overtake my tub, but can I do anything to slow it down? I know H2O2 can do something, I just cant remember what its use is (Like only for bacteria or whatnot) and im not trying to douse my tub in peroxide when it could possibly do nothing or hurt it. Thanks everyone and expect many more pics in the next week or so. (Probably 1 picture dump every day around when I get home from work)

Things seem to be going slower than I expected, but other than that everything seems to be going well. I need to adjust the polyfill and I just came to realize I have a huge problem with my lid that I have a fix for.
I realized the pivotal problem in my tub. The top has vents in it that circumvent the polyfill. My next day will show my fix. Also I saw my polyfill was a mess, I tightened it up on bottom and mad the top thin but still good.

I put plastic wrap over the top of the tub after I misted what looked like a dry casing. I can already see humidity on top of the tub collecting and can't wait to see what comes of this new idea. I really should have thought of this a long time ago but it hadn't crossed my mind till last night. Hopefully things will be looking up after these next 12 to 24 hours!

Just wanted to throw up an update of sorts. I made an LC from one of my spore syringes (I can't do agar as of now so this was what i wanted to go with) and my tub is getting there! It's a bit blue because I fucked up hard and let it get really dry one day when i had my fan on too high with my lid cracked. I have done my best to clean it up and it seems to be mostly unaffected my the one day. Since this came from MS i have some weird genetics but i sure do love this big guy in the corner. This LC is coming along well, before i shook it today it was coming along very nicely. I started the LC this sunday and im happy with where its coming along. Temps in my room have been ranging from 75 to 84 ish through the week but always with good air flow in it.

EDIT: Added some pics for the shroom in question

Just a photo dump update, picked the first flush and watered and poured out some water in the tub, and started a second batch that I know is heavily bacterial but I want to see what will come of it. It's worth a try right? I did the second tub with daemons 50/50 tek.
