I could not disagree with you more. Constructive critics is extremely useful at times.

However as soon as you become 'snarky' or 'judgemental' you descend into the realms of being disrespectful of your fellow human. Of the 1000's of people I have known in my life, not one ever responded well to feeling disrespected.


Criticism is rarely taken well even if it is polite. In my experience people dont like hearing what they do wrong regardless of who they are. Even more so when they hold some sembelance of authority. Look at your on behaviour when people started ribbing you. You flew of the handle. Couple pages back koods got all defensive and tried stirring up drama. Calling you out on this shit is in no way disrespectful. You want to hold us to a higher standard start looking at yourselves.

That response wasnt directed at you. Youre ok as a mod, like you said you dont moderate the pub though. Which is why im apprehensive about any decision you might have relating to it. You dont even post here enough to have picked up on jokeshops numerous meltdowns here.

I just realized one of my last posts made it sound like I am critical of the mods as a whole or even have had any negative experiences with the mods at all.

I haven't at all and I greatly appreciate their volunteer efforts for the site.

My only issues have been  prisoner1 inappropriately moving threads to the conspiracy forum and dustbunny unreasonably closing my threads and giving me bogus ban points.

Other then that I personally have had zero problems with any mod including koods.

I completely agree with you. I screwed up badly (in The Pub) when I first took up the role (which I thought was just for PS&P). I was drinking a lot at the time and drowning my sorrows between the drink and excessive time in The Pub. I have learned a lot since then.

We all are prone to making mistakes when starting a new role or job or hobby. It's part of the learning process and is necessary for us to become more proficient at what we do. I am not defending my actions, but admitting them and sincerely apologising for them. Please also bear in mind that I have made effort to make amends with the member you refer to, as well as others.

I am making all efforts to learn how to better conform myself for the benefit of both myself and The Shroomery.
