Problem with undocumented immigrants. ..is that you CANT send them back...because you don't know where "back" is.

You can refuse entry from a border of course.  Which is what is currently done..hence the sneaking in and such.

If you're talking about syrian refugees many are only entering the US (and other countries they can't walk to) after being vetted by the UN and the country taking them in.

Personally i do not understand how so many syrian adults can just flee their country.  Parents and children I get...every good parent wants  safety for their children.  But other adults?  Fuck that,  i would rather die than flee my country and let it be taken over!

My opinion?

We need to adjust our immigration laws to allow everyone who wants to come in to come in. I mean other than known criminals of other nations, violent criminals in particular. If we do that we will no doubt have an influx of immigration, but at least they will be documented and they can pay taxes and if they do commit crimes in the U.S. we will be able to track them down.

That said I don't think you should be able to qualify for assistance programs unless you have actually become U.S. Citizen, which I think should be more difficult then my proposition for those applying for green cards/work visas, however not nearly as difficult as it is now. Have them learn basic English, and have them pass something similar to a GED.

america's a big country back in the day they'd let anyone in they just wouldnt get citizenship to vote or hold property

yes I think we should loosen the restrictions up, i mean it seems like every other country besides the u.s. doesn't care for new cititzens and I think that's what makes the world a fucked up place because you're essentially the property of the country you were born in, so all the rich assholes have all the power and all the working assholes think they're living better then the poorest of poor.

i'm also down with building a wall but the easiest way to do it would be to hire mexicans
