So that really doesn't solve the problems of expensive tuition for the vast majority of college students. Do Bernie supporters understand this reality? NOPE.

By definition, the vast majority of all students are not "top" students.

Because they wouldn't qualify if only "top students" are allowed.  Only Asians and Whites would be getting free college.

Why pay $60k per year at Princeton when you can go to Rutgers for free?  Who suffers from this reality, minority students.

The whole way students would choose their college would change, why can't you see this obvious fact?

BTW, I don't have an issue with maybe the top 5-10% of students getting free college if it's based on pure academic test scores.

If 50% of those students are Asian, so be it.
