lol when I was writing that, I imagined confused aliens backing away cautiously as I walked up with opened arms.

then perhaps some sort of death ray zapping my head into juice as they figured I was too close of a threat, or smelled too bad

I don't mind happiness, but there is a difference between 'found 20 dollars in my pocket' happiness and 'Teletuby/Barney' happiness. 2 people have to be equally happy ( or sad) in order for a hug to occur. And it takes a shit-load of happiness to get to the 'hugging' level. Any imbalance in happiness during a hug is just plain disturbing. :rolleyes:

honestly man I didn't plan on things going this way - my first two posts were really my honest responses for the most part..... I didn't necessarily mean hug but I figured the idea would get across - more like "bond with" or something you know? Because I'd rather become buddies with other intelligent life than have them pissed off and throwing bottles of hairspray at us
