I don't.  A spiritualist is just a religious person with an unpopular religion.  Once their bull gets popular it becomes a religion. 

They don't make more sense, but they are less dangerous only because their beliefs are not popular enough to reach a critical mass.

The Yoga shit is a part of it. I am not saying Yoga is bad in and of itself but it is all tied up with the Spiritual Industrial Complex that promotes passivity and positivity and feeling good about everything rather than seeing problems for what they are and actively doing something about them.

Well, its likely nobody holds metaphysical truth, so all our world views are incorrect or artificial constructions. Sure, the new-agers may be deluded in thinking that they know the truth, but, then again, most people probably think the same about their own improbable beliefs.

New-agers certainly aren't the only ones who don't particularly care about contributing to the betterment of society, and, as far as hedonists go, they seem to be more successful than most at finding happiness. Maybe you are envious that you can't be dumb enough to buy into all that crap? It sure would be nice, anyway.

The concept of "truth" in and of itself is not meaningful and a self-serving distraction.  "Truth" is for the weak.  The only time I hold a truth is under a set of postulates are are assumed for the sake of the truth.  It is, by construction, narrow in cope.

Well, abstract mathematical truths may be possible, but yes, I agree with you generally. This is why I have abandoned truth in favour of constructing new life models, which I adhere to or throw away as I find them beneficial or otherwise.

I just have to say this; truly enlightened people embrace everything, good or evil, pleasant or unpleasant.

I really don't like to have to resort to a quote by Jesus Christ because I don't hold any particular religious beliefs, but this way I hope you'll understand what I meant:

I agree a fair bit, the passivity you see in many new-ager types is really unfortunate. Then again, I care quite a bit about the world and politics but what exactly does that caring achieve? Without action, nothing. In that sense I'd take a lot of these new-agers (the less crazy sort) over average citizens.
I really don't like the promotion of this care-free attitude though. People areas dis-empowered as they allow themselves to be
