just look at those eyes, several of em too!




it is no wonder i am always encountering them during psychedelic trips, and they even become a part of the experience/lesson. it is as if they have something to teach us..

I have never really encountered an insect while tripping haha


I do see eyes in all my trips though, like the hamsa symbol but on everything

That scallop eyes picture creeped me out. Spiders tho. They are awesome. I think they ended up on this planet by accident. Basically,  :ancientaliens:

spiders, centipedes, butterflies, etc are all really cool but they're not adorable

i prefer adorable AND cool animals tbh

Last time I ate mushrooms I encountered a wolf spider with offspring on her back. At first I was a bit disgusted, but later I realized that it is beautiful. A mother carrying her numerous children on her back evoked some good feelings. I didn't take a picture but here's one from wiki (not the same species but similar enough)

Also they have different eye configuration, which I find is interesting.

I read somewhere that bugs used to be huge a long long time ago because there wasn't as much oxygen or something so it's probably basic instinct to fear something like that, they always scared the crap out of me and I never was told they were poisenous or anything. That movie arachnaphobia put's it simple

There were no mammals during the time when the earth had giant insects, so I highly doubt it is in our instincts considering how long ago it was and how different the species were

insects are out of this world, it's like they have their own planet, and it aint earth..

they seem almost completely mechanical, but yet there also seems to a be a tiny spark of life within their little eyes
