Yeah, because 1- Dude only threw one sucker punch, and  2- Nobody called the cops (see point number one.)


An altercation so quick that it starts and ends before someone can even pick up a phone, is far less likely to result in police showing up, unless the person who got hit is the one who called them. No one wants to deal with that shit, unless they're butthurt over getting punched in the face.


On the other hand, someone starts seriously beating ass in a public bar or on the street, the chances of the cops showing up probably only increases with every punch thrown. Most people would shrug off seeing someone get sucker punched (assuming they even saw something that quick.) But few people will stand by while one dude sends another to the hospital. Especially if it's happening in (or outside of) their place of business.


I kinda hope you're just trolling. But I know there are plenty of people out there who actually think that way. It's one of the reasons our prisons are so full.
