Sorry for the poor picture quality, these pics are from the camera on my phone!
Theres small white maggot type things with a black head. They appeared after the fresh libs were sealed in a bag for about 3 days.
Does anybody know what these 'orrible bugs are?

Finding these maggots in liberty caps is normal and very common.
BUT you should never leave shrooms in a bag. Always dry them out ASAP - or else they'll become useless black mush.
I think the maggots are gnat larvae - although unappetizing they won't do you any harm. I'm sure I've eaten many of them without knowing.
If you dry the shrooms out you'll find that the maggots will crawl out of the shrooms as they become dry, and eventually the maggots themselves will dry out and die.

I bet that larva is having the time of his pre-life. If yer going to use bags, paper bags are great -- they soak up the moisture. Plastic baggies are little eco-chambers.
