Mr. Mushrooms has been around for quite some time now (look at his mumber number if you doubt me) and a small group of 80 or so is actually pretty damn descent for someone that's been around that long

hell...I probably have a couple hundred haters right now (and I know i've been here less then Mr Mushrooms has)

I do hate OTD and was against reopening... us as a mushroom communtiy we dont need it.. it makes us look bad makes the shroomery eat up tons of gigs and its worthless.. imo we need to get back to the mycology ... remember this is just imo and means nothing :smile:

It's a pretty stupid opinion when you consider the fact that the person responsible for paying the bills of the site decided that OTD should stay. What better judge is there to make the decision.

The whole broadband debate is without warrent as it is up to 3d to decide whether or not its worth the price.

Everybody else's opinion on that issue is less informed than his.

I find this everywhere I look. The walls of this place shake, I spend most of my time in S&P, ive seen many people who contributed to S&P leave and more people i feel more disconnected from flow in. Ive only been here a year.

I remember the first time i came here, i met a lot of different people and learned a lot about myself. I felt for once i had a place to voice my opinions, while learning how to better communicate with others.

I dont think this is gone, but when i come here i feel like ive been sitting in the wrong room for too long. Ever since the OTD fiasco ive felt this underbelly creeping out of the crevices i like to think of as the shroomery.

I remember seeing you a year ago Mr. Mushrooms, and from then i have seen a great change in your posting habbits. While I cannot always track your movements, there have been times where ive been able to see you, and its been good to know that ive been able to see a positive conection, at least i hope so.

Its hard to say what to make of this place. But ive done a few tests with posts ive made to determine the "state" of the shroomery, ive gotten very cold responses to what i had a year ago. I try my best to do what i can. I am no judge, i cannot say whos fault it is, for more than anything it goes from the individual/group/whole level. Im not going to define those groups, but i think its important for people to understand that communication is essential to a surviving systems, equally an ability to work things out, and drop unecessary bs to keep efficiency ahead of faults.

An understanding, a relationship was in affect, but something came and shifted the foundations, the shifting posts have caused the roof to slip. Ive considered leaving for a few months now, and gotten really close to doing it. Coming to a place where i dont feel accepted, or able to communicate with is a counter to what i came here for. I would like to help a site that would like to help others, but its hard to try and help when some of the things you say are never acknowledged.

Just as of late ive came to realize a state of hypocracy between a post of mine and its location, and the responses made. I am pretty sure that if someone had consider the depth that post had, they would have contacted me about it, but maybe since it was closed, my real point was lost. It was a TEST, whether it was to be seen by all or not, i got my needed results.

Too many walls have been built, theyre structure was not good enough to keep it upheld, nature will do its will and so everything else must adjust accordingly.

Many people dont wish to work together, or let the truth be known.

The truth shall set you free  :thumbup:  !!!!!

hmm...i think the people that are positive contributors to this site are the people that want to learn about the cultivation of mushrooms and the hunting, experiencing, and wonders of mushrooms and mycology. Not the people that come here to chat that have no interest in any said topics of mushrooms, dont get me wrong, meeting cool ass people and chatting with them is cool as hell, there are alot of fucking awesome positive people here. I just think that this site was designed to inform people about mushrooms and mycology. Maybe im wrong, thats just my thoughts on things. :nut:
