I posted this over at TDUB, but it's only gotten 6 views in 12 hours, how pitiful.

Complete ownage. :eek: Does anybody have their Fillmore East album? I think I might go pay for it *gasp* just to hear their jams. Can't find shit online. And does anybody have a picture of the group with Duane Allman in the photo? Everyone that I've found doesn't have him in it (not sure if they're before his death though).

I don't really know the point I want to make, besides how amazing Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs is, so you tell me what you think of them.

Eric Clapton is a guitar god.  I will listen to anything he does.  Even that collaboration with Baby Faggot, um, Baby Face a few years back roxxored.  Eric Clapton is the shit.  AND a bag of chips. :grin:

I'll give Clapton his do,but I think he is over rated. I guess I just don't like his style. (I hate the really thin strings he uses.)

Layla's a pretty good album. His Cream and Blues Breakers stuff blow away anything he released later on though,IMHO.

Have you tried Soulseek? If you can't find it there,you probably can't find it anywhere.

Aren't there pictures of Duane Allman inside the Layla album?

I really dig that album. The three guitar sound worked. I'm guessing. cuz I don't know the line-up but I think it was Clapton, Almman, Betts?

Dude, Darek and the DOminoes fucking rock. Have you heard the Layla Outakes album? It's packed full of very nice studio jams. It comes up sometimes at sharingthegroove.org, but its also an official release.
