yes, haha brilliantly put. i can't believe what it feels like listening to those two albums while tripping - completely transports you to another world (i do get that with some other eastern-influenced music too). nothing is as perfectly arranged as these albums apart from nature itself. :P

My favorite album is:

Squarepusher: Ultravisitor

It's my favorite because the part of me that's a musican realizes that squarepusher gets closer then anyone, period, to the transcendant source of musical inspiration from which all good music flows. It's just that good. It's too intense to listen to much, but it's 100 times better then it's closest neighbor. It's not just musicians music, it's music for the people who make musicians music.

Favorite, I don't know. Besides that, these are the ones I have been listening to most lately.

Aesop Rock - Float
Robert Fripp - A blessing of tears

Um, I dunno I'll add

The new shpongle (haven't heard it yet, but it's sure to be included)
The new tool

5 current favorite songs is easier

Squarepusher - My sound
Aesop Rock - Battery, but any of his shit is increadible.
Radiohead - Let Down
King Crimson - 21rst Century Schizoid man, but see Aesop Rock
Porcupine Tree - Mellatron Scratch

No.  RDJ does reach some pretty good heights, but a RDJ album will be uneven, with some parts that suck as well as some parts that are quite good.  Squarepusher is entirely quite good.

I would allow that RDJ is pretty close to being right behind squarepusher.  But he isn't God.  Squarepusher is.
