help identifing mushrooms

Habitat:
grows in cow pasture with black angus cows grows straight out of the cow dung im located in tampa fl

Gills:
dark

Stem:
kinda long longer than my regular cubes not to hollow but not as thick as cubes

Cap:


Spore print color:
taking one now I will upload one in the morninghttp://

Bruising:
blue where I snapped next to cap

Other information:
Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.

Might be a Panaeolus cyanescens, and it's definitely not a P. cubensis.

Ya i know my stuff about the cubensis bit this is new and thats what my friend said thats what they look like but i hope it is a panaeolous cyanescens never tried them

They are definitely an active Panaeolus species, if they did indeed bruise blue, & probably even if they didn't.

I think its cyanescens.  I don't think cinctulus blues the way this one is

See now my friend im hanging out with who knows about them and he doesnt think its a panaelous cyanescens or panaelous cinctulus so i dont know what to think

idk.  wait for a TI.  I still say its an active panaeolus.  maybe bisporus, but I doubt it

Copelandia species. The stems on mature/weathered collections often become darker. Panaeolus cinctulus are far less common on cattle dung and rarely bruise and never that vividly.

To know which for sure exactly which Copelandia species it is requires microscopy, without that you have what can be seen in the comments above...a guessing game.

So its just have someone eat them and see if they are good is the only way to see if they are good? I dont have a microscope so thats out of the picture. But thank you for finally helping me out

No not at all, you have an active Copelandia species. Determining which one isn't a concern for your intent and purpose as they are all  psychoactive to roughly the same degree. Trying to slap an exact species name on them without a scope wouldn't be accurate as they are macroscopically all very similar. You'll need about ten to twelve mushrooms to get a good trip going though.

Man i wish i wouldve saw this earlier cause i threw them out. How would they compare to the cubensis cause when i eat them i usually start out with 2-2.5
