Peppers and Tomatoes , now we are talking. Such a good investment to grow your own herbs or foods if you have the space sounds really nice guys.

I have recently had a similar batch of Tomatoes which were grown in Adelaide and are meant to be top quality. So attractive from the outside nice and large looking all ripe and red but behold the equivalent to watered down cordial.

With peppers or capsicums if they are not fresh but the supermarkets want to sell it at normal prices they usually cut off the stems which would be a reflection of the overall quality , once its gone soft and limp = no good opposed to the erect hard stem. I know that's random but maybe someone didn't know that.


I think this raises an issue in relation to what does this mean for future generations and people with minimal experience of exposure to quality. E.g One of my friends tells me one day how he finds Watermelon to be a gross fruit. To be honest i had a very difficult time to comprehend this so I interrogated him on the matter and behold.

'It was all soft and mushy inside, and had no seeds'

So in other words , this friend of mine had never ate a Proper watermelon that went crunch as it should instead he only ever tried genetically modified seedless watermelons as a result he full heartily believed that's what a Water melon should be like.

So where does that leave the other generations of children who are being raised on GMO products without any other samples to try and possible with no'one to tell them better depending on situation.

Asides from all that , long term effects of GMO foods have not been monitored or recorded as it is a relatively new Niche, that's probably worth consideration too when weighing up pros and cons.

Oh hush you hippie. Gmo foods are great for our race to survive.  When mutating corn it is done 165ft below the ground in a limestone cavern.  To ensure that there wont be a release of pollen from bad corn. http://www.purdue.edu/newsroom/releases/2014/Q2/corn-dwarfed-by-temperature-dip-suitable-for-growing-in-caves,-mines.html with the development of gmo products corn will one day grow in africa and not be affected from a disease that they catch. This is the future deal with it. I would be more worried about pesticides. Smh you really complain about the greatest thing for our species to survive
