agar mixtures?
    #19937414 -

I want to give agar a go I'm trying to take the leap away from spores to a better method to suit my needs and would like some assistance on mixtures. The agar I ordered was from a health food shop if that makes a difference I don't know. But what next ME is not really available without another order and wait for shipping. So what can I get locally that I can use with success?

look up PDA recipes.  potato and honey or karo.  look up pastywhite easy agar tek, its in there, but u can use regular petris in addition to the pp5 he suggests.  they both work well, just procedurally different..pour/no pour

use the water that you soaked and simmer your grains in, seems to be working for me, but its also my first attempt

Agar agar, malt sugar(maltose), nutritional yeast, softasilk flour if you want. First 3 can be found at health/natural food store. Might be able to find malt sugar at regular store, don't remember.

Some people use corrugated cardboard effectively.

You should really stop asking the same question multiple times.

I answered in your other thread. I'd just order some malt extract if I were you. Or find a brewing store where you can buy it.

These are the TEKs I use. They're all as cheap and easy as possible, just like your mom.
