Random Albino Mushrooms??

I have been growing Thai Tanic mushrooms for years and recently they have started to produce random albino mushrooms.  Most are still normal non albino, but every once in a while there will be either a whole cake or sometimes just one or two albinos on a cake that also contains regular non albino mushrooms.  Does anyone know why they have started to produce albino mushrooms? genetic mutation?  Everything else seems normal, just some random albinos.  Do they still contain psychedelic properties? Should i trash everything and start with new prints?

send your albino prints to me lol! jk but there probly luecistic, spore color will tell. if there white there albino, purple is leucistic

leucistic just refers to lack of pigment. No correlation with alkaloid content as far as I know.

They are just completely white.  If you pinch them they still turn blue, just not as quickly as the non albino ones.  Any idea what causes this? or why it's happening..

It's genetic. Whatever mechanism that normally switches on for pigment is obviously not happening. There's nothing to worry about unless you're entering them in a beauty pageant .

did you try print it on foil? sometimes you just gotta let them mature a bit before they start to spore
