Mushroom Snuff?..

I was grinding up mushrooms in a coffee grinder the other day to make storage easier and had a thought. What if i sniffed mushrooms... Kinda like a mushroom snuff.. i was just wondering if anyone had any experience or thoughts on the subject before i went and stuck mushroom dust up my nose.

Can I ask why? I was dared to insuff a gram of tobbaco from a philly blunt for a gram of hydro once and it was very unplesant and I puked as soon as I did it, I would imagine dried mushrooms would be just as bad if not worse, just eat the things.

I can imagine why! Super fast come-up and a more intense experience..
You'd better vaporize them if you want that though.. that IS possible for sure! (at the right temperature! think about 250 degrees celcius or so.. maybe much higher, as the melting point of psilocybin from boiling water allready is 220-228*C)

Once again I ask why? If you wanted a more intense experience just eat more, imagine insuffing 3 grams of pure shit. About quicker onset, is anyone really that impatient? AFAIK Smoking (or vaporizing) mushrooms has never been shown to give anything more than a slightly stoned feeling, feel free to prove me wrong like I said I'm not sure but never saw a report that said it was a decent method of consumption.

the questions of why i would want to sniff the stuff is this... it generally takes about a third of the amount needed for the same reaction orally and it generally doesnt last as long.. i have found with most substances... and so if this is possible it would make for a quick trip when i dont want a long one and i wont have to use that much. About getten the stuff real hot... i never really looked into this myself but i was always under the impression that you heat psylocybe up to much and it kinda dies... what are peoples experiences with this... i think the powder would be fun however.. its fine enough to float in the air so sniffing shouldnt be a prob..

Well Psilocybe cubensis takes three to five dried grams or an eighth of an ounce for a trip equivelent to a Mazatec Mushroom Ceremonial dose.

How in the hell can you snort three to five grams of dried powder with horrible tastings to it.

Get real.. This is worst than wanting to inject shroom water.

Eat the fuckers and thats all there is to it.

If you want fast, make a tea, soup, coffe or smoothie.

By the way in 3 dried grams of P. cubensis mushrooms, that comes to 3000 milligrams of powder. the actual amount of psilocine/psilocybine in 3000 grams of mushroom powder is 15-25 milligrams of chemical.

And you have no way to extract that small amount from three dried grams.

Get real and quit being stupid .

This is not what shrooms are all about.

Same for those who think they get high smoking them. that doesn't work either.

Im sorry i was so stupid, i was kinda thinken of the snuff as equivalent to other things when snorted... Mushrooms may be different, however, i assumed that the chemical would hit harder when taken nasaly as other chemicals do and would increase an average of 3 times as other chemicals seem to. I then thought that perhaps i didnt want to have a "ceremonial" and instead was looking for more of something that i can be social with those not shrooming.. more along the lines of half an eigth. This then was my thought, an 1/8 being about 3.4 grams i would only have to do around 1/6 of 1/8 which would leave me with about .5 grams. I did not think that this was a rediculous amount of powder to put up my nose... If i am continuing to be stupid i appologize.

I'm just curious as to whether or not the pluggung would work. Has anyone tried this? Personnally I don't find the taste that bad as to resort to fingering myself to avoid it.
