Channeling entities; discuss

So this is a serious thing man!

I was just curious, if any one had ever intentionally or unintentionally channeled with a being, spirit, another person you know.

i would like some honest support and insight into channeling. Everywhere i look concerning channeling has to do with new age theories and wishfull thinking and explanations about what it means etc etc.. Its all new age fads and people trying to pretend they know what they are talking about.

To break the ice just mention how you feel about it or what you may have learned. Doesnt have to be an actual event as they are often personal

I don't put much stock into all these people who claim they are channeling entities, and broadcast the information to the public. Seems irrelevant to my life and doings.

That being said, I think some of our thoughts are not our own, but something we pick up, receive, or "download".

Yea exactly if they are as you said "broadcasting" it to people then they are probably neglecting the whole point of it as far as i understand it.

I mean half the time they are just trying to get confirmation from people, not teach anything from an angel or something so its easy to ignore them as phonies.

Let me ask another question then, does anyone have knowledge of what a trickster god might be? Or a deva/asura. Or helping spirits, not ancestral exactly... More or less an entity that has maybe even changed identity throughout history. For example, thoth is known as hermes to the greeks.

If you really stop to lisent and pay close attention, you will realize that there are "voices" in you mind(head, inner ear, whatever) that tell you different stuff. Some of that stuff is just random gibberish, for the most part. Some of it is what you would consider to be a rational You. Some of it will be really nasty. And what is the rarest will be some profound stuff.
A person who calls him self a medium, most likley learned to listen to the voice which tells him this good stuff. But that does not mean that those other voices wont interfere in a message.

Thats why no single channeling will be 100% accurate nor reliable as much. And depending on the mood of a person doing this.. angel can become demon.. Thoth can become Hermes and so on.

We are channeling if that is the proper term, all the time. When you are imagining a story, poem, drawing a picture, composing a song.. All those things are done under a certain dose of influence of those voices(call them entities if you like)..

Not certain If I answered all you questions but ask anything if you need further 'explanations'. But just bear in mind, no one else can tell you something better or more truthful, then what you can 'channel' for your self. :cool:

I dont really buy into mediums and psychics and shit usually...
But one time I had a dream in which I did a sort of "astro-travelling" and met up with my friend, a member on here actually (TurbinaCorymbosa). he expressed worry to me and looked terribly scared. I know this was just a "dream" but I felt a strong connection, it felt like much more than a dream. I honestly felt like I had travelled out of my usual dream space and entered into his. I got a strong feeling of distress in his space and felt like he needed help.

The next day I woke up and I called him. We had been going through different times in our lives and hadnt seen eachother in almost 4 months, despite having been best friends for near 10 years. He was nicely surprised by the phone call and after a few minutes of talking I got the same distressed feeling in his tone as I did from his presence in my dream. I told him about the dream, I asked him if everything was ok and if there was anything he needed to talk about because I had an eery feeling he did.

He was shocked that I knew, we hadnt talked in ages, he hadnt even so much as hinted that anything may be wrong but quickly started tellig me all about his life most recently, all the problems and confusions he was feeling, I wont go into detail as they were quite personnel things.

He thanked me extensively and admitted it was kind of strange I seemingly channeled him through a dream to find out he needed my help. But he was thankful as we have always been there for eachother and this came out of complete surprise in a time in his life when he could not have made sense on his own.

Weird or what man...

I believe in channelling, people who are channellers usually don't know at first, but find out by themselves often later on I think

something can communicate through you if you are open to it, but for that to happen you must be free from your own thoughts/misery, you must have overcome your own mind

probably like sitting at a distance from your own mind observing, knowing exactly which thought was for the receiver, but the channelling happens so fast you don't have time to think about it before saying it, but afterwards the channeller would know it was the right message for the receiver

Eckharts Tolle might be one, there are many I think, there are also many fake channellers trying to rip people's money

intuition, knowing for the benefit of others than oneself that sounds like channelling
there are different beliefs what channellers actually communicate with, spirit, source, higher self etc.

but I believe in it..

the channeller gets a new voice(something communicates through them), the channeller gets new thoughts
to help, and knows the receiver as good as themselves/they know what they must know about the receiver suddenly

not everyone wants to dedicate their life to doing it fulltime, I believe it can cause great suffering just like it can cause joy, so I respect anyone who has the gift to actually dedicate their life to using it to help others
many might be receivers, but not everyone want to develop it (psychic intuition of some sort)

there seems to be a spirit world, so I don't believe it is 100% safe to do this stuff, the channeller must be very grounded probably

channeller and energy healer/shaman might be just about the same, they must have enough energy to actually restore other people's energy, that is a daunting task - who has that much energy?
it will probably be very demanding on the shaman/healer/channeller at sometimes, at least in their personal life, the healing work they might feel at peace with, but it will likely be bad for their personal lives - they can't just take any job/education i.e. and do this in their sparetime, for stress will likely destroy the ability
I think they do it because they feel like they have to, not because it is pleasant living like that.... and they probably charge money to be able to live too(same hour fee as a regular work or so), there might be a few fake ones out there so watch out

Yes and yes and the beings try to convince me that I am in telepathic communication with certain people around town.  There was a time where the angels were screaming for orgasms and when you join sexually its a form of channeling.  There have been times where I go into my smoky CIA movie voice and channel what seems to be Hollywood.:grin:

Those that interact with me often sound like little girls and are quite human seeming.  When they are in your body they feel like marbles under the skin.

The thing about the trick or treat is they spin you.  So they tell you to do one thing and you want to listen to them because it seems important so you do it...  Then they fault you for that one thing and tell you to do the opposite...  And thinking you should listen you do that thing then they fault you for that.  So the idea is you do one thing they say then do the opposite of the next thing they say.  Take one and flip it.  ...Or they'll run you into the ground.

I wanted to listen to where they were leading me and I ended up in two car crashes within a month.  They were instructing me to find this certain person in the next city.

And they lie about anything and everything.  They go after things that you care about like your family and loved ones/GF.  Then they make up all this negative shit about the relationships and ruin your past by making you believe in the lies.  The emotional responses like shame and guilt are fed upon as a source of energy.  Its like being cooked and bleeding.

Thanks guys, i got my answer just by reading all this and reflecting to myself :smile:

So i owe yall an explanation then!!! i have had a nice spirit friend for a while now. And i was just trying to pinpoint whether he just comes to me in the form i understand and as what best serves me... Or if its simply what i make it or know him as. I became skeptical after reading about tricksters and devas/asuras. Mostly because the name i always call him which i was given turned out to be an actual name of something not just a random thing . So that raised alarm, but im very happy now :smile:

What does he appear like?  It seems that they can project whatev imagery into the mind that they want IME.  Does he talk in a voice or is it pure mental telepathic communication?

how do you feel afterwards, next day, how do people feel around you

that is how you know if the spirit you are dealing with is good/bad

grounding is still very important I think, nature is good grounding, but probably not enough alone

your lifestyle decides what you are contacting, what you give to others decide what you are contacting too
there are good spirits that will help you and help you help others too, but there are also ones that will change worldview for the worse

a real channeller learns the lessons from trips and that he/she can channel at any time without any drug
the channelling is compassion in daily life, you learn to read people and yourself/your own state too
see people from the inside

there is no way to be a channeller without feeling whole, complete yourself first I believe

if you have no energy yourself you will drain your clients/people you try to channel for or help

feeling whole/complete usually means learning from life mistakes, can take a few decades/lifetimes
it usually means realizing you are not your thoughts too I think, knowing oneself

if you know yourself you know others, so you can just spread that love without needing to channel
if you know yourself you feel connected to everybody you meet most likely, a "channelling" kind of experience will feel normal in everyday life

if you know yourself, you do exactly what you know you must do, without doubt :-)
