The art itself is irrelevant. What you watch on television is a bunch of boring, unskilled dudes rolling around on the floor while attempting to assert their masculinity.
Chuck Liddell also has a stupid haircut, and MMA fans are some of the most pathetic, testosterone-deficient beta male jackoffs on the planet.

I am into training and watching MMA.

However I was practicing and tore a ligament in my knee so now I am in recovery phase and cant train. But I can watch and do upper body workouts. Sadly injuries are part of the game with intense martial arts training.

When I recover I am going to focus on Krav Maga classes.

I used to compete in Judo, and I do barefist fighting with a friend for years, but I would never actually fight in UFC or MMA. I wont even do boxing or kickboxing, anything that involves being struck in the head repeatedly. The new science shows how damaging that is to your brain, so to me its not worth it. So I just do the training and workouts and classes but I wouldn't go out and let someone kick me in the head.

Yeah man, Im 22, started traing jiu jitsu and muay thai when I was 12. Been a big part of my life. I plan on going pro if everything goes well in 2014.

Right now I don't have anything scheduled, its starting to get harder and harder to get fights as a amature. But my record is 19-2. My last fight was back in November. I compete mainly in MMA. But I like doing Muay Thai fights (smokers) and grappling comps to keep me busy and in the groove of things. Right now I'm taking a break from training. As with anything after you do it for so long, sometimes you get burnt out with it.

I have been doing boxing, karate, jujitsu, wrestling and learning muay thai off and on since I was 5. It's really a great way to release pent up emotions and it's just plain fun to fight for sport. Because it's been a part of my life for a long time, I love to see the technique, endurance and the whole mix of all fighting styles that every fighter strives for. I stopped when I was 15 or so and I think I'm going to get back into it if I can.

To each their own though, at least MMA doesn't fake shit like "pro" wrestling and has much more technique required then boxing.

I wouldn't call soccer fans dumb but I think it's one of the most boring sports to watch other then pro fishing.
