this dude is AWESOME. He teaches a style of kung fu, details about the art are here http://www.sevenmountainskungfu.com/System.html and here http://www.sevenmountainskungfu.com/Inside%20Kung-Fu%20page%2040.html
as for the "master" himself, he learned these kung fu forms at a monestary in vietnam. i think hes supposedly the last person alive who knows it. anyway, he won many tournaments, including THREE national black belt world championships. THEN he went on to organizing and writing about the history of martial arts. this guy sounds like a real honor to be under, and the art sounds incredible.
two additional articles, about Master Phuoc Phan http://www.sevenmountainskungfu.com/Inside%20Kung-Fu%20page%201.html and http://www.sevenmountainskungfu.com/Phan.html
sorry but i dig this stuff, and wanted to share it with others that do too cus its hard to find an art and teacher as raw and pure as this.

Damn it. You beet me to it. I was gonna say something about Paul Stamets. Oh, well, I still will. His books TMC and GGMM are a noob's (and an old timer's, too) best friend. There are hardly no questions that get asked in the cult. and contam. forums that his literature does not touch on. He is a golden god of mycology. Does anyone know where I can get a poster of him to hang above my bed?

Dear Paul,
Could you please send me a signed poster of you kicking some ass, doing some mycology work, or hopefully, both at the same time? I'm your biggest fan, and I'd cherish a gift like that forever and ever.
Thanks
Tomata
