Kid wanted to die got his wish. Shitty he made some dude a killer for either he own ignorance or fear of just doing it himself.

If you gonna lock your self with a weapon threaten people saying you will kill them or yourself what does that person have to lose.
That person is clearly unstable and is now coming at you with a weapon.

Cry some of you might but if you were put in that situation you would have shot.
Humans tend to do whatever it is they have to to keep on living. That's what makes a suicidal homicidal person so dangerous.

no. cops are not trained to shoot on sight. so the "at any point" rationale is BULLSHIT.

the cop had responsibility to hold his ground until the person becomes a threat... simply backing down would have done that. then the kid could have very well killed himself, but then "douchecop" wouldn't get the chance to fire his pistol. i think douchecop probably should have had a brain and backed off instead of provoking the target.

did you even watch the video? he didn't shoot on sight. he gave dipshit 8 warnings before he
shot him, and what the fuck would you know about being a cop and how they're trained? maybe
you should become one since you know exactly what you would do and how you would handle
yourself when confronted by someone with a knife.

Do you know anything about firearms? Police in Idaho are issued .40 and .45 caliber pistols. Those are large rounds. When that bullet makes impact it flattens out and becomes much wider. When there is an exit wound it is often the size of a baseball. One shot would easily stop him.

If I was trying to kill myself I would not get into a car accident and then run into the home of somebody I know. I think that this man was just in a terrible frame of mind and in shock from the accident. He was clearly not thinking rationally.

Tell me, if you were this officer and you rounded the corner to see someone holding two knives, what would you do? Would you stand there shouting orders at him? Or would you back off and call help?
