McKenna realized that the Internet would be the place where psychedelic culture could flourish on its own. "Psychedelics were always about information," McKenna observes. "Their very existence was forbidden knowledge at one point. You had to be Aldous Huxley to even know about them."

no kidding. mckenna was soo the 90's tim leary. he tried to act like he wasn't... but he was.

I'm in an epistemology class, and my prof is all like "I posit that through all "states" of consciousness there must be "self-consciousness"". and he thinks it's all profound... I'm like "hey man, there's this one state, it's called ego loss, and there's no "you" but you can still think.

he thought I was talking about something I read about hinduism.
