o and btw, theres this crazy thing called VA benefits for such hardy combat vets as yourself. but you know what, you don't know about them because your piece of shit that throws out your a bad ass Marine when your at the local pub, even if your not properly shaved, and a overweight fuck. dig your own grave op. and seriously, fuck off. Just because you were in the army doesn't mean you get shit handed to you.

This reminds me of a story.

One time I went to the airport, I went to get breakfast at Burger King and this guy dresses up in his army gear approached me while I was ordering and he asked me straight up if I would buy him breakfast, too. I said "and why the hell would I do that?" He said "because I'm protecting your freedom" I laughed and said "uh no you're standing here bothering me " and I laughed, laughed, laughed all the way to the gate.

I say fuck anyone who has went into the armed services and comes back demanding/expecting respect and for everyone else to jump through hoops from them because "I fought for your freedom".

So you didn't fight for your own freedom? You specifically went for my freedom? Thought so. You made your own choice to enlist, I certainly didn't ask you to. As far as I'm concerned, you're entitled to the same treatment as a person who works at McDonald's or Walmart gets. You're not better than them, why should you get special treatment?

I have respect for those who were in Vietnam, not this Iraqi Freedom bullshit.

I never asked for them to go protect my freedom. Let the mother fuckers come to America, I have a gun and I can protect myself if need be.

I respect most people who have served, but the second you think you're entitled to it, you just lost it. To feel entitled to it means that you think you're better than everyone else.. Everyone else has to earn that respect.

If you've served your country and were humble about it even after coming back, then you're cool in my book.

You all definitely read way too much into it. I never said i felt entitled etc. I didn't lie about being in the military and the VA only helps if your injured mostly. I will be going to school next year.  this story is about a friend that constantly offers shit and then doesn't give the shit he offered and said he will give.  His comment was out of the ordinary.  I guess you would have to have lived through that moment to understand where I'm coming from. 

For you all to bash me etc is ridiculous and way off the original topic. But yes I would agree someone coming back shouldn't be demanding shit. I have held several jobs including Burger King - for whoever put the fastfood comment in there lol.

you need to shut the fuck up - telling me to do it.  Yes in some areas it is hard to get a job.  Ive put in hundreds of applications and I'm sure many members have been through similar periods.  In my town its hard.  Its a small town and very out of touch with the times.  Its a town say if you were African American you would have a tough time getting a job period. I'm Latino so I'm having a tough time- and  I'm a five year Combat Veteran.  You have no clue. Ive worked at Supermarkets, restaurants, fast food places, the Army, recycling centers- and trust me I can't get a job as much as I try.  So believe it or not it's tough for some people.  Get the fuck off your high horse and stick to the original topic.  Lose your damn ego- you're the fucking disgrace.

I already did. But calling someone a liar and then going way off topic etc is what you did. You read way too much into it and then others chimed in with you comment without reading the story. I already stated I was going to refuse further offers and gifts and just stick to myself.  You then felt the need to call me a disgrace to the military. You don't have a clue on my contributions to the military- many would state I was a blessing.  I never demanded any respect. I always live by a "it takes respect to get respect" adage.  I've worked the shittiest jobs probably in history from cleaning bathrooms to working in a recycling factory to fast-food and the restaurant business..  You read too much into the story again. Its about a friend who offers things daily and then doesn't provide the shit he was giving you.  You got way off topic.
