Bring your most distructive criticism.
    #18262462 -

I'm working on a theory and need only the most brash modes of sensible criticism to crush my theory to bits.  (Religious critics especially so.)  Thanks ahead of time.

Steps of Existance: (each step creates a new universe in the multiverse?)
1.)    God/Absolute Nothingness (if had to have a name, though doesn’t in all actuality)
2.) God/Absolute Nothingness decides to form a reality to better understand itself.
3.) God/Absolute Nothingness splits itself into two.
4.) 2 gods try to form back into One and in the process create an implosion that creates infinite multiverses.
5.) The echo of the 2 gods remain as a trace or shadow that effects the conscious of every living being that will ever evolve from these new multiverses.
6.) The echo of the need to reform into One also effects the conscious of every living being.  Because of this, things like religion, sexes and differences of opinion formed.  Which in fact are all fallacy since we are in fact split between Two of One in the same, and the result of us trying to become One again.

Almost forgot 7.) The beings that evolve from these multiverses that get confused and become violent, angry, and take up malice, wanting to destroy everything. (i.e. Trolls)

8.) Everything in between.

So not scientifically provable you think?

Not really. But it's a nice theory and it sounds pretty close to what happened though imo. It reminds me of some Tao verses:

Quote:
25.
Something perfect
has existed forever,
even longer than the universe.
It's a vast, unchanging void.
There's nothing else like it.
It goes on forever and never stops,
and everything else came from it.
I don't know what else to call it
so I'll call it Tao.
What's it like?
I can tell you this much: it's great.
So great that it endures.
Something that endures
goes a long way.
And something that goes a long way
always comes back to the beginning.
Tao's great.
Heaven's great.
Earth's great.
And someone in touch with Tao
is great, too.
Those are the four greatest things
in the universe.
Someone who's in touch with Tao
is in touch with the earth.
The earth is in touch with heaven.
Heaven's in touch with Tao.
Tao's in touch with the way things are.

Quote:
21.
A Master stays focused on Tao.
Nothing else, just Tao.
But you can't pin Tao down--
you can't even see it!
How are you supposed to focus on something like that?
Just remember what Lao Tzu said:
The universe began as a void.
The void fills with images.
Images lead to the creation of objects.
And every object has Tao at its core.
That's the way it's been,
ever since the world began.
How can I be so sure?
I just know.

I don't think we'll be able to ever prove any of this stuff scientifically. We might be able to find out what started the big bang, but then what were the conditions that started that? It's a never ending loop and I think the Tao is right.

Damnit lolwut, I was looking for a debate of well thought out criticism! lol.  I've never heard much of Taoism.  From those exerts, seems like they have it pretty much right on, imo.  It's a work in progress theory, the universe wouldn't have it any other way.

And maybe science is the biggest troll of the multiverses and life ever to exist?

 I wouldn't say it's a troll because at this point in time, it's the best we've got in terms of physical proof really...I'm sure multiverses exist, 1 good hit of DMT is enough for that, but as of now there's no proof of them and may never be. That makes any idea like yours pure speculation, which isn't a bad thing, just can't be proved.

I've uploaded the translation of the Tao Te Ching that those verses came from for you, if you're interested.

Modern experimental physics is actually very confirmatory of the principles of Taoism.  As early as the 70s a physics professor named Capra recognized this and wrote the book "The Tao of Physics."

In Tao is oneness
Which presupposes duality
From two comes three
Three is the mother
Of ten thousand things

--------------------
It's all mythology...
