As far as profit goes. It will be $8000 which is a lot to some folks. So it definitely is worth the risk in SWIMs eyes.. It's not just a drive, pick up, and drive back type thing.. There are good friends at the pick up point. So there will be a weeks worth of hang out time before heading back.
Once this connection is established, then mail will be a possibility.
The buyer is riding with SWIM to the pick up point. The buyer is a very close friend as well. The buyer will pay SWIM up front and fly back after the purchase is made.
Riding the train or greyhound is an idea that was thrown around, but according to research, the only folks that have done it successfully, have done it with small amounts. Have yet to see someone do it with 10 plus pounds. A lot of that research was pulled from years ago. Not sure how tight security is on these modes of transportation now a days?
The dogs are the scary part. Cops not so much. They are easy to handle when you've dealt with them so many times in the past. Calm, cool, respectful. Seems to always work.
Sealing the stuff up is another thing too. Vacuum bag it with gloves and clean cloths. Wipe with alcohol and what not. Seal another bag around it with some alcohol in it. Bag it one more time. (This is just an idea)
Once the bumper covers are removed, the inside of the bumpers will be sprayed with "Apple Bitter Spray". Dogs don't like apple bitter spray so I believe. This is where hopefully all 10 pounds will fit. The bumpers will be removed inside garages at both points as this will require tools. The next step is to spray the wheels down with fox urine.
Just trying to be as prepared and as professional as possible. Not just throw it in the trunk and pray things go smoothly. The more layers of protection put between SWIM and Johnny Law, the better.
