lol these made me talk to him but not in person
I am fairly certain they are Ps. pelliculosa, but the stipe looks a little off, maybe because you crushed it? but yeah thats my guess, every shot but the second an the last one doesnt look like pellies. Gills shots..

the ones on the left in the second pic are from an old friends patch he scoped years ago, was actually where i was heading when i ran into these...as for the stipe being a little off i think it's just a camera that does no justice or the fact thats it's been raining non stop so the are soaked.

Elaborate?
they don't look enough like a Psilocybe species to confirm an id from those pictures.
peace and love bloodworm
They also dont look enough unlike a Psilocybe to say they aren`t.
The most recent picture makes me confident they are in fact Ps. Pelliculosa or silvatica, i dont know they difference to the eye. I suspect they are Ps.pelliculosa tho.

He said he ate them and had a trip.
My bet is that they are psilocybe. They have looked like psilocybe to me the entire time anyway.
But questioning is a good thing for all even if it is a bit flustering.
