pelliculosa infested neghborhood!

well i found some of these guys in a yard the other day and was suprised to see a couple hundred of them there considering i was on my way to a clearcut, just to find them in town. so this morning i went back and on the same block seen even more at another house.....and more at the neighbors house ...so i went across the street and found a few more. i have hunted these succesfully for years now but this is the first time i have seen them in town.got permission from a couple of the home owners to take some pics tomorrow!

(all i had was my phone for a camera tomorrow i'll have a proper one!)

How do you know they aren't galerina? Did you make a spore print or do you have any more pictures?

i am only certain there a psilocybe and assuming it's pelliculosa as many blued at the base or came up with very blue aborts attached.
i'll have better pics tomorrow but the ones on the left are confirmed pellics the ones on the right are from the yard(mulch).

Those looks much more like pelli's then the first pictures you posted. Sorry for doubting you, cool finds. I have been looking for these for years and still never found any.

took me a few years also but now i've found i only have a small window of opportunity where i live from the time they pin to freeze over(2-3 weeks at best).

They definitely appear very mycenoid in that 2nd photo. The gills even look white. I look forward to your updated photos :thumbup:

just the flash from my phone,spores appear purple and definite bluing occuring at the base(not to mention they got me ripped the other nite!)

Or the spore prints. I do see the blue abort, but I guess they could still technically be a Mycena species.

That last picture has me convinced. They look exactly like pelli pics and the abort is seriously blue. But still, who confirmed them for you? Or was your confirmation eating and tripping?
