well, to confirm the identity i will try to go back in the bush and collect a few specimens for workman to take a look at. they look just like pelliculosas i found before. pretty sure they're pelliculosa, if not silvatica perhaps

i couldn't find one on wikipedia, but the one on http://www.ac.wwu.edu/~fredr/Agaricales/Psilocybe.html is the only photo i know of.

oh thats the one.sorry man, i thought i saw that on wiki.manning provincial park is only a few hours from me too eh. ive been comtemplating.maybe next year its probably too cold up there by now.

the stems in that link looks similiar to these don't you think?

Old thread, I know - But I think this one is a Deconica due to the stem texture and the broad gills.
