Psilocybe Pelliculosa? 2nd opinion ID help please.

Found in a wooded area in PNW Wa. Gowning on wood chips on the forest floor. Separable gelatinous pellicle was noticeable when breaking the cap apart. I am almost certain these are P. Pelliculosa. Everything I've cross referenced seems to check out. It doesn't hurt to be extra certain,right? Thanks!

These could be P. pelliculosa, I have no direct experience with them and can't be certain, but I doubt that's what they are. I believe what you have is a Galerina species, Galerina vittaeformis sounds likely.
Please wait for someone with more knowledge on conifer Psilocybe species and lookalikes before eating them, for your own sake.

Not P. pelliculosa due to the cap shape.  Pelliculosa looks more like Mycena.  This could be Psilocybe silvatica.  I would be interested in checking out a cap with the microscope to confirm.

I see blue bruising so it is an active Psilocybe.

Interesting find. Like Alan said, the cap shapes are off for pelliculosa so silvatica is more likely. Silvatica are less common so there aren't so many good photos of this species, so please visit this spot again and take more photos and send a cap to Alan or someone to get a proper ID.

Are the gills a tad pale or is it just me? Also having a hard time
trying to see actual blue, but I hope I am wrong and this is a
Psilocybe sp.

The excitement from everyone prompted me to collect the rest of the specimens I left behind. I thought they might grow with after a couple days but that didn't seem to be the case.

Thanks for posting these! Maybe you should have let them Umbo-out a bit more before plucking the younglings, but looks like you left the mycelium in tact so it should be cool!
