My girlfriend is pregnant

Fuck.
We've been together for almost 7 months. I am not ready for a child and I know she definitely isn't. I explained to her all of my thoughts and feelings and she said she doesn't want it but she refuses to do anything but give it up for adoption. She is only like 2-3 weeks pregnant, i told her that taking ibuprofen and vitamin C and stuff will give her a miscarraige but she's afraid it will "hurt too much" and she will "regret it later". I said you are going to regret having a baby you can't take care of, and ruin the rest of both of our lives. Also it will hurt a lot more to hold a baby around for 9 months and shove it out of your uterus. I said I would take care of it if she had one, and I will hold myself true to that, but this sucks.

Women are so illogical.

Lots of young people I know kept the kid and their life if far from being fucked. Actualy their life is better than most of my friend of the same age who don't have kids.

I think it would be better to get rid of it now before we become attached to it. Also I think it would be weird for the child growing up but we will most likely go with that option.

I get wanting to get an abortion but to try to convince her to miscarry is pretty reckless. She could have an incomplete miscarriage or other complications. It's not something to take lightly. It sounds like you may be acting aggressive towards her about this -- realize that it probably a huge decision for her to make, even if you don't understand why. Talk to her rationally and really try to make her understand your side of it.

It's a rough situation when two people want different things. It's her body but you should also have a say. Just stay patient and calm -- anything else will just be detrimental. Good luck.

I told her it was her body and only she can make the decisions, I wasn't trying to force her into it, but it really is the ONLY logical answer to our problem. women have no problem solving skills at all. I told her she will become attached to it the longer she keeps it, and it will be harder to get rid of. We are simply not fit to be parents yet, we don't have the means to take care of it and I told her we would have to rely on a lot of other people and it isn't their responsibily to fix what we did. I talked her into doing it but then she just turned around and said she was going to have it instead. doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
