Why I love Mythbusters
    #15996675 -

Because they're on a fucking desert island with nothing but fucking duct tape.. That's why

I grew up watching their show. Adam and Jamie are insane, creative, and smart.

Does anyone else love this fucking show?

The one where the strapped the car to the jet rocket or whatever it was, was the greatest thing I have ever seen.

I like the episode when they launched something into a  nearby building and had the bomb squad called out. Oh wait that show never aired:shrug:  Oh well

I started watching Mythbusters in 2004, back when they had an Australian narrator. It was awesome, they tested actual legitimate myths, consulted folklorists and - the best bit - they went into a lot of detail about the scientific and mathematical aspects of busting the myth. The excitement of the show wasn't just the explosions, but also the process of them solving problems.

Nowadays it's disgusting. I watched an episode recently where they "comically" sped up Adam and Jamie's discussion on how best to solve some complex problem. "Oooh science, lol funny, look they are have smrt ppl talk huh huh huh huh." And every single episode is JUST explosions and crashes, the "myths" (if you could even call them that) are chosen/invented based purely on their visual appeal.

The exact same thing has happened to Top Gear and Man V Wild. It seems that as soon as the general public start to watch a show, the executives rape it for all it's got and try and please the masses.

Yeah I guess your right it's gotten pretty bad. Television, as a whole, has totally sold-out and been dumbed down for this generation.
