Legal reprocussions?

What up guys? Hey I have a questionly for anyone who lives in Maine, but for anyone in general... has anyone been busted growing/distributing shrooms, and if so what happened? I have a friend who started growing a while ago and is a little worried about what might happen in the event that he was raided/surveiled. Thanks =).

Chances are as long as he doesn't go around telling people or selling and if he's not already being watched for drug for any reason he can grow shrooms for personal use without much risk. As far as selling, you get fucked, its drug dealing.

Yeah. Selling is the part he was worried about... even thats relatively low risk if you do it right, but nothing is foolproof. Selling is far from foolproof, its like playing blackjack or something. Thats why my friend wanted to know what the penalties involved were. He wouldn't sell if they were really harsh.

The penalty would not be good. All that needs to happen is for one kid to fuck up and spill the beans, thats not uncommon. Some people he sells to can also fuck up and talk. Not only that but when they find out he's dealing and growing the judge will piss in his face. I'm guessing atleast 20 years.

Think about it, thats also a possession charge and depending on the timing of their bust you could be tripping. Even worse they could watch you for awhile and even get more charges on you, I wouldn't do it.

there is no such thing as low risk in dealing....you sell only to people that you know, but how well do you know them...one gets busted, does he roll on ya...is that guy you met 6 months ago with the DEA....he was for a friend of mine, I didnt spot him, I thought the guy was on the level...you never know the people around you and how they will react in a given situation...facing jail time seems to be the worst fear for some people....they crack, quickly....

Dealing is stupid, how much are you really going to make, if you grow, it's cultivation as well....it carries a heavy sentance and the money just isnt there, especialy in mushrooms, you need too much space and it gets difficult to hide, especialy when you have a friend that knows....and he tells his friends....and it will happen....
