But yeah I don't mind Desean holding out.  He does deserve a bigger payday.  I mean he's still getting paid based on his draft placing.  Crabtree's getting paid a rediculous amount for doing jack shit.


I think the Eagles are doing the right thing if they trade away Asante.  As good of a picker as he was, Asante's just not that great of a tackler or run stopper.  Philly's D sucked ass last year.

On the show I was watching with Irvin the other guys were saying with the new labor agreement holding out ain't gonna work but we'll see. If I got what they were saying correctly he'll lose 30 grand a day and can't become a free agent for two years. Irvin was insisting that it would make the Eagles look bad so they'll work it out quickly.

Crabtree is going to be working with Alex Smith for another year. What is it about the Niners? Is it their O-line or what?

If I had to guess I'd think they suffered from a bad string of draft picks and coach hirings.


I do expect them to improve a bit.  The defense obviously got a big boost with Patrick Willis' presence.

I suppose the numbers don't support it but I still like Singletary as a head coach. Maybe his demeanor has me hoodwinked.

Cotchery is a good possession-type receiver.  Good route-runner, lots of heart.  He allegedly asked to be released by the Jets after the Jets signed Burress, supposedly because he wants to be a #2.  Now Sanchez's longest relationship with a WR is 12 games with Holmes.
