Completely agree with Skip. Bush is good in that specialty role...3rd down/hybrid back with the ability to line up in the slot. Every down back? Won't happen. He's just not that type of back and never will be.

He's a complimentary player.

Belichick is a frigging genius. Notice how he always gets these guys on the ultra cheap once they fall out of favor with their previous teams (IE Randy Moss). He virtually got Haynesworth & Ocho for free. Late round draft picks for guys who were once considered top 5 at their respective positions.

I'm not sad to see bush go, I've seen enough of his dancing and running backwards with the ball dangling away from his body. Besides the offense doesn't seem to miss a beat when he's injured which is all the time. Plus now they got sproles who can easily fill that role and is much more reliable.

He gets them easy, plays to their strengths and uses them how they want to be used so that he can keep them happy and maintain discipline. The only time I really wondered about Hoodie that I can remember is I thought they should have gotten more for Cassel.

I think the Vince Young thing was stupid, and overpaying him.

But Vick is going to be damn good again. He's still Mike Vick, the guy who as a freshman took his team to the national championship, the #1 overall draft pick, and one of the most potent offensive players out there.

I mean for Vick he's on a much better team now than he was on in Atlanta.

Philadelphia was a playoff caliber team before Vick arrived. ATL was bad enough to get the #1 draft pick to grab him.

I think they'll still be one of the top contenders next year. Desean Jackson getting injured in that game against Green Bay during the playoffs really hurt them.
