does chimera grow on its own roots?

i cut a 6in piece of my myrtillo calycium so i could root it seperatey. the only thing its a graft.

i cut it anyways but will it sprout roots of its own? or does it have to be grafted?

i'm :confused:

thanks man. all i seen is just grafts. but this piece is very columnar looking so i cut it and wanted it to root as a seperate plant. did not know if it would work..

yep, like mostly said, root in hot weather like you would a myrtillocactus.  they are slow on their own though!

i aint in too much of a hurry anyways. i wonder if you could graft something onto it.

anybody thinks thats possible?

thats a big ol boy, you're golden bro. 

You can graft to it just fine, but FYI variegated stocks are shit.  at least in my opinion....but as for looks they are the shit.
