I don't post here often, but what the French did to a war memorial recently has simply outraged me. We (UK/US) liberated France on more than one occasion, and this is how they continue to thank us. Next time the cowardly French surrender to the nazis/communists, I don't think we should intervene. In fact I think we should invade France next. Or at least blow up the tunnel that connects them to us!

UK GRAVES DESECRATED
A British military cemetery in France has been desecrated with anti-war graffiti.
The memorial at Etaples, near Boulogne, was daubed in red paint with the insults "Rosbeefs (British) go home", "Saddam will win and he will make you bleed".
Another said: "Dig up your rubbish, it is contaminating our soil."
French officials said opposition to war in Iraq was no excuse for venting hatred.
The vandalism was discovered by workers at the site who then set to work to remove the paint.
They had to grind down the stone to remove the shadow of the words left behind.
Peter Francis, of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, said the incident was "particularly foul".
"The reaction of the people who found it was shock, upset and disgust, which was our reaction as well," he said.
"I think that was also the reaction of the local people and the French authorities."
Some 11,000 British servicemen and women are buried at the cemetery, most of whom died defending France in WWI.

I'm sad to say i am part english (Chapell)......German and Italian as well 
but when the dust settles i'm 100% American.

***edited by Rono***. The Canadians fought in WW1 and 2, and there were many killed, they joined both wars before the US did. On D-Day, the Canadians were the only country to acheive all of their goals. The Canadians were instrumental in liberating the Dutch during WW2, and the Dutch maintain a massive tulip memorial in Ottawa as a show of thanks.
Also, I seriously doubt the entire US would come and vandalize a Canadian memorial. Which is my point. All of France did not vandalize that memorial. A few people that happened to be french did.
I'm sure there is anti-french vandalism going on in the US right now as well.
With what kind of logic do you figure that all of France is responsible for this vandalism? Should every single american be jailed when one american commits a crime?

Exactly. Unlike americans, we don't pop an artery in our brains every time someone disrespects us. Maybe you suffer from some sort of personality disorder which prevents you from being able to brush off shit that doesn't really matter.
It's just a fucking memorial. Nobody was hurt when it got spraypainted.
