Shamanism The Calling update
    #14044345 -

I recently had a dream that I thought may be a calling this is a follow up on another experience I had after consuming a small amount of mushrooms. After about 15 minutes I started feeling the effects almost nothing than it started getting slightly stronger. The nausea was getting pretty strong but I knew this was good it had the purgative effect making it a plant teacher. I decided to go outside and stepped out to the back yard snow covered the ground. The nausea was overwhelming I knew it was coming back up. I threw up and right after I felt something different from the regular mushroom effects but something familier it was like a just took a huge hit of DMT. I saw faces inthesnow swirling around my visions got more and more powerful. I decided to take a hit of some chronic I had. I than lit up a ciggarete. The tobacco and nicotine pushed me through the veil after I decided to close my eyes. I than met what I can only describe as a powerful yet very calming entity. He was only in my vision for a few seconds after that he seemed to feel the need to show me something. My vision desolve away from the entity and shifted toward what recognized as a tunnel. I was desencing very fast. I came out of the tunnel and realized I was under water. I was pulled deeper under but I was not afraid I was able to breathe fine. Down there I saw visions of faces I did not recognize swimming and warping through the water. I seem to remember a fish swim buy briefly. I then realized I was ascending back up toward the surface the water go brighter and brighter blue until my face surfaced the water. I looked around there were big beautiful cliffs in front to the left and right of me. It was paradise. I looked up at the sun it was also very beautiful. As I looked into the sun a magnificent red light illuminated from it and my vision went completely red. I than awoke from the trance still feeling the effects strong but I knew this was going to be the most intense vision that would occur that day and all this after only 1 g. The rest of the trip was good and wore off a few hours later. The next day I researched the diet of the forest healers diet on google and stumbled across a story that was similar to my experience there were many aspects of the story that appeared in my visions. I consider this my second experience with the calling and if a third happens I can no longer simply disregard these as simple hallucinations produced by the drug itself. I must than accept my fate and realize these were plant teachers and spirits that are trying to teach me the ways of the forest healer. Do recognize these similarities?  http://www.ayahuasca-info.com/data/articles/ethnopharmacology_plants_teachers.pdf

There is a book of stories from the Anishinaubae tribe called The Manitous that speaks of something similar. A man hears the call of a woman. At first he isn't sure what to make of it, but soon he can clearly hear the distress in her voice. Moved to action, he sets out in search of the source. He is drawn to the edge of a vast and dark blue lake. Here the voice is nearly upon him but still he cannot see the source. And then he is drawn into the water against his will. Down...down...down... he fades into the darkness.

You might check out the rest of the story if you can find the book. It's interesting what happens. I also would never choose that path myself

Are you reffering to the path of the healer because I heard that if a calling is ignored and one decides not to take such a path things will just get worse and worse for them.

I'm referring to the water world. The place of Mermaids. As the story goes, once you enter, you're stuck. You can come on land occasionally but your home is now underwater.

Am I fucked than or was the entity showing me a glimpse of what could happen? Fuck I hope the entity was not a mermaid. I was able to surface at the end. The entity and I did not get married or copulate as the legends state happen. Is this how they trap you? What do you suggest I do?

IMO the underwater realm is a realm of dreams. You quickly forget who you are and where you've come from. It is only through great effort that anything is retained at all. Until you've wed yourself to the water, you still have your choice. But wedding can happen very subtly.

If you pursue the creatures of the water far enough, they will eventually pull you under. The intent to pursue is enough, it isn't some formal ceremony you can physically see. Just as the individual in the story I relayed earlier, the mermaids usually use our desires to help/heal to bring us close.

Then I will do everything I can to stop this from happening. I'm pretty sure I didn't wed because I wouldn't have been allowed to return to the surface. I will try to visit ajo sancha and learn powerful arkana to help protect me. Hopefully there is someway to defeat these mermaids. If you find anymore information please let me know asap I'm really new to this type of thing and really appreciate the help. I must tread carefully as I'm unexperienced and quite possibly helpless at the moment against these ancient beings. I feel as though things are much more hostile in these other worlds than I had anticipated.

You always have to play as though it is for keeps. Do not give yourself over easily. After all, what is it that an ancient being would have interest in you for? Don't imagine yourself to be of so little worth that you need to have what is offered.
