Grain Transfers

I have a B+ strain that is cultivating about 6 Jars on rye nicely, though I would like to have a few more jars though my Print is all used up. I was thinking about transferring cultivated grain to a set of new jars, though I am confused about contamination, since my preparation for the jars were very sterile.
If I were to open up the jars after they had been pressure cooked to introduce cultivated grains wouldn't a lot of contaminants get inside the jar during this process? How can I prevent this from happening if I were to do some grain transfers?

The key is to be clean and fast. Get everything ready beforehand, spray the entire area with Lysol and do your tranfers QUICKLY.

i turn the broiler on in my oven and let it warm up 180F, then open the door and set the jars in. have a spoon presterilized and oven mitts are a good idea too. if you work inside the oven with the doors open and it pretty hot you can have good success, just work fast bc its hot and also the quicker you do it the less chance for contam to get in.

The oven tek is great and works amazingly well for me. I have an extremely low contam rate doing G2G transfers using the oven.

add 5ml h2o2per pint of substrate, or more if you're feeling paranoid, to the sterilised jars, and shake the fuck out of them before adding colonised material. The h2o2 kills off any stray spores that might float into the jars while you're transferring, and the colonised grains should resist contams anyway.
