Does anyone know what species "philosopher stones" are. I saw them in Amsterdam and the guy told me they were truffles. Does anyone have any experience with these? I thought they were great...no mind fuck.

I thought philospher stones were Sclerotia of Psilocybe mexicana.

yeah, they're the sclerotia of P. mexicana... i'm not sure if they're technically truffles but it's the same idea.
