Oh, What a Dream it Was
    #1382640 - 03/17/03 05:25 AM (13 years, 8 months ago)

I had this dream a couple nights ago, and thought I would share with you all.
I was walking in this beautiful area, where a meadow met a forest, and out of the corner of my eye, I spied a shroom.  It was vivid in my mind, down to the remnants of a veil and bruising blue.  I picked it up, and put it in my pocket.  I looked around me then, and WHAM!  All over the place were hundreds, maybe thousands of cubies and cyans, and a few pans here and there.  I weaved around the meadow and the forest floor, gathering the shrooms, showing passersby the bounty that was here and introducing them to the wonderful fungal friends.  We tripped together, and feasted on some shiitakes that happened also to be growing nearby.  What a wonderful dream; I must've had fungus on the brain or something.  Perhaps a subconscious reflection of my joy at starting my first grow a few days prior?  Who knows.  Hope you enjoy this utopian dreamscape!

On the topics of dreams...Does anybody here lucid dream? I'm extremely interested in it but I can never seem to realize I'm dreaming. It almost feels like I'm watching my dream happen from behind a window.

That's awesome! Two weeks ago, I had a dream that was pretty similar, and since you shared your dream with us, I'll share mine you.

I was walking down my street, when I realized that there was a house that was missing, and in it's place was a grassy field.  Off to one side, was a mushroom.  I walked over to inspect it, when I realized it was a p.cubensis, and it was massive.  Then I realized that I had simply not noticed that there were hundreds of them.  So after making sure they were indeed p.cubensis, I sat down in the grass, and ate some of the fruit.  And I tripped.  It was a real mushroom trip, and during which I began to realize the beauty of everything, and how there is so much more than what we normally percieve, if only we pay attention.  Several hours passed, and then I woke up.  That day, when I walked down the road to catch the bus, I felt incredible.  The sun was bright, it was warm out (it had been snowing out for days before that,) and I felt great.

I just love how things you experience in dreams are (or can be) real. How many of you have had experiences in dreams that are identical to the experience in our "waking reality"?

A lot of times in my dreams, mushrooms arent there normal size. More like the size in cartoons where there so big you can sit on them, and they look really nice in the surroundings.
