fluoride vs. green tea

Do the cons of fluoride outweigh the positives of green tea?  Or vice versa?




I'm going to guess no one has a definitive answer. What do you think is more likely though?  :coffee:

Any answer to this question will be pointless and stupid. However, I would like to know what the fuck made you even consider these two substances to be counteractive? Because of antioxidants? Tons of shit makes free radicals, its not like there is known amount of 'radical makers' or 'radical killers' in a substance

true.  im tired and high.  i really meant cost to benefit ratio.  obviously they are not counteractive, but im curious if drinking green tea is more or less detrimental to ones health.

You really need to calm down about this fluoride shit.  Lots of water contains fluoride naturally, including spring water.  In fact, when the government "fluoridates" water, they're often removing fluoride to a safe level.  You can't spend you life worrying about every little thing.  The stress will kill you long before the fluoride.

I agree. It's naturally in water supplies and diets, so humans and living organisms in general have been dealing with it forever. I'm sure we're sufficiently adapted to safely deal with it at this point.

Also, they do watch the amount of fluoride in tea. I remember reading about some massive recall a few years back when Lipton Instant Tea had too much fluoride. I think I read that it was largely because all the water used in created and dehydrating it had fluoride, so it concentrated as it evaporated. So, the FDA and you genetics both have your back.
