To me the idea of 2012 is a reflection of the human mind which pretends it wants to live in the now, but will always keep postponing it
Few want to totally drop their world & live as the truth right now, we are so attached to so many lies its easier to postpone truth & keep living lies...

Its a symbol of hope, and hope, expectation, anticipation, always kicks you in the balls, hard, because its fear dressed up, maybe its dressed up in a fancy suit or some other kind of threads we like, like 'world peace', or having super powers, morphing our DNA & transforming into some special being so others can appreciate how great we are inside.

You are one of the ones that don't see that critical mass, in the eyes of evil, is pretty much obtained. They are slowly implementing their plans. As for my own beliefs on that numbered date. I feel that those in power will use it to our advantage, and come up with some strif(false flag and I hope I am wrong) that will roll out the red carpet for the new world order. If they don't take advantage of all the hype, then they will never get the power they strive for.

IMO the "new world order" got here thousands of years ago. Each generation realizes it as part of their lifetime and so considers it new or about to happen, but really it's quite old.

It has been here for a while, but not thousands of years. If that were the case, the Myans would be dictating the now. I will say that TPTB got their idealogy from the rulers that once were.

I disagree. The Mayans practiced their new world order on their population and only succumbed to a superior outside culture who inflicted their world order on the Mayans.

I think the new world order has been around since our beginnings as homo sapiens and blossomed with the advent of agriculture.

Nothing new here.

The mayans weren't taken out by another civilization, the reasons for their demise are unknown and mysterious. I think the new world order was instituted after the 1400's and the dawn of capitalism, since then bankers have been running the show.  Nothing too surprising there, that money owns all, and that we don't see who's really running the show.

I agree with this to an extent.
People always like to believe that they are somehow at the precipice of something important , or some sort of dramatic change.
But unlike all those folks throughout history we have something that truly is unique to our time and it is the understanding of genetics.

We used to cut up tons and tons of pig to get tiny bits of insulin but now we have genetically modified bacteria that make a shit ton of it for much less money and time invested.
This is something i've been propagating for a while now  - we are no longer at the whim of  collective evolution.
We are starting to control it now and this will only keep escalating.

Many people don't even take the time to look into the latest progress in the world of science.
We come up with new groundbreaking shit.. every damn day.

Although we might be sharing the same spritual/mystical delusions as our predecessors its a fact that life expectancy as well IQ are exponentially on the rise.

The reason why the implications and possibilities of genetic engineering aren't that well known among the general public is because people look for results.
They don't really care about hearing that we CAN do but they do care once you actually do it.

The biggest issue are the big corporations largely in charge of these projects and sadly most of the efforts are going into making money for the corporation and farmers or other 'middlemen'
The consumer is the last one to be asked for an opinion.
But sooner or later , discoveries will be made by independent scientist which will be impossible to withhold from the public.

The whole NWO thing in my mind is simply an unintelligent interpretation of how the economy works.
You have to understand that it's a big monetary issue for many companies that specialize in cancer treatment , should we come to the root of important dna damage that causes some of the most widespread tumors.
I don't think this is a part of a plan , schemed by old white men behind closed doors in some secret meeting.
It's simply men with money , ensuring the rise of their income.

It is my opinion , or maybe just wishful thinking that one day , things will change and with the rise in intelligence and technological progress , this seems inevitable at one point.Re-encouraging this belief on the internet might just bring that point closer , so why not try ?

Yeah my mistake I was thinking of maybe the Aztecs. Anyway the new world order for the Mayans were the religious elite.  They ran the show and the peasants showed up to be sacrificed.:lol:

If you had to pick a single year 2012 would be that year to represent the end of this age and the inevitable transition into a new one. Basically I think there is going to be alot more destruction then creation over the next century. In the end spirituality, real spirituality will make a huge comeback. Science and Spirituality will truly begin to coalesce.

No that's not true. If I had to pick a year to represent the end of an age it would have been 1971.

And I agree that "spirituality" will make a come back along with religion and usher in a new and deadly dark age.

yes 1971 was the end of the last great change in our society, 2012 will be the beginning of the next one.  If they'd had the internet in 1960 they would have predicted that happening then as well. catch my drift? nothing mystical here.
